Sea Pathway or Seaview Park

Kannur, the northern district of Kerala, has a long shoreline apart from its mountains, backwaters, forts and spiritual centres. The sea pathway or seaview park is one among them.

Located around two kilometres from Kannur town at Payyambalam, the one kilometre long walkway overlooks the mighty Arabian sea. A wide, elevated pathway has seating areas. The spot is ideal for morning and evening walks with the cliff and the waves cradling the walkway, providing a panoramic view of the Arabian Sea. For another view of the sea, head on up to Payyambalam lighthouse. The museum is located adjacent to the sea pathway. It has a children’s play area and an ice cream shop.
